#OurChildrenAroundTheWorld: Peru

This month's episode features the Proyecto MABA initiative at Kari Grande elementary school in Cusco, Peru.
This month's #OurChildrenAroundTheWorld series brings us to Peru! As a nation known for its rich textiles, ancient ruins and vast diversity, members of rural communities are often marginalized when it comes to receiving access to education. That's why in 2019, we partnered with University of Technology and Engineering (UTEC) to launch Proyecto MABA, a STEM initiative with the objective to bring a higher level education to low-income students in Peru. Learn more about this initiative by watching this month's episode of #OurChildrenAroundTheWorld series and by following us on social media for weekly updates! Board members and supporters visit: Casa Hogar Alegría, Mexico

Following a year of restricted travel and visitation, we are pleased to share that members of our team and board were able to safely visit our partners, Casa Hogar Alegría (CHA), in Toluca and Guadalajara, Mexico. We had a lovely time visiting both campuses and spending quality time with the girls and staff. We listened to the girls' stories and learned more about ongoing initiatives and resources that CHA continues to provide for the girls in their care. We left the campus feeling inspired by the girls' resilience and motivated to continue providing them with the best quality care and attention.

We would like to give a special thank you to Rafael Toro of GOYA for his continued support, and Casa Hogar Alegría, for the warm hospitality. We are humbled by our partnership. ¡Gracias!
