Casa Hogar Alegría Guadalajara

Fundación Casa Hogar Alegría
Guadalajara, México

Maestro Cares Foundation began their alliance with Fundación Telmex-Telcel by together funding the construction of Casa Hogar Alegría’s Cacalomacan campus in Toluca, Mexico.

This new campus is an extension of the original Casa Hogar Alegría home in Toluca. This campus houses young girls from 6 to 21 years old. It counts with several dormitories, a kitchen, a chapel, a basketball court, an outdoor recreational space, multi-purpose and computer rooms.

Fundación Casa Hogar Alegría offers a comprehensive upbringing to orphaned girls who lack parental care, have socio-economic disadvantages or any impediments that interfere with their ability to become happy and well-rounded individuals in a safe environment. Casa Hogar Alegría provides the necessary attention to help advance personal development and thus the girls can become independent, responsible, self-confident and are overall able to increase their quality of life.

Phase II

This second will expand the current location of Casa Hogar Alegría. The expansion will build dormitories and additional spaces on the Cacalomacan Campus to cater to an additional 168 girls, leading them to a happier and more holistic lifestyle due to the multitude of resources provided by Casa Hogar Alegría. Construction will start in November of 2022 and plans to be completed in December of 2023.
