Escuela Palo Verde

Maestro Cares Foundation partnered with Fundación Tigo to remodel and reconstruct three schools in Palo Verde, Jalapa, Guatemala – a vulnerable community that is highly affected by poverty and water drought.

The remodeling of these three schools has provided students with an adequate and dignified educational environment. It is not only a clean and healthy space, but also counts with a state-of-the-art computer lab and internet access for children in the Palo Verde municipality.

Fundación Tigo is a non-profit organization created in 2009 as the corporate social arm of Tigo Guatemala. Their main objective is to improve the quality of life of Guatemalan communities, creating, developing and executing digital programs and solutions that cause a real impact in the country.
