Grand Openings in Argentina and Chile!
We are so excited to share that this past month we inaugurated not one but TWO projects!
Our team, alongside our co-founder Marc Anthony, Nadia Ferreira and board members, Elena Sotomayor and Felipe Pimiento had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening for Jardín de Niños - La Mascota in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This project, operated by Fundación MIR, gives children the opportunity to learn and grow through the Montessori teaching method emphasizing play and early education. Once fully operating, the day care center will serve up to 300 low-income children between the ages of 0 to 6 years.
We are also very proud to share that our first project in Santiago, Chile in now completed. Maestro Cares Foundation's team and board member, Elena Sotomayor, alongside Nadia Ferreira and our project partners from Bizarro Live Entertainment attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Casa de Acogida this past month . Operated by Corporación Renal Infantil Mater, this temporary pediatric home will serve children who suffer from renal disease and who are in need of an organ/body transplant. The home houses up to 9 families from rural areas while their child receives treatment at the Children’s Hospital in Santiago.
We’d like to extend our gratitude to our partners for their warm hospitality and for allowing us to continue changing the lives of children. We’re so excited to see the impact that these new projects will have on the children and families in Argentina and Chile!
