Grand Opening in New York City!

We are excited to share that the Center for Wellbeing and Happiness in partnership with The Lower Eastside Girls Club celebrated its Grand Opening this past Friday, October 14th, making it our fourth project to inaugurate during the year!   The Maestro Cares Foundation team, alongside board member, Amalia Gomez-Micone had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening for Center for Wellbeing and Happiness in New York City. This project, operated by The Lower Eastside Girls Club will provide wrap-around wellness services to families in the Lower East Side, a densely populated and ethnically diverse neighborhood in New York City. The programs offered in the areas of movement, wellness education, nutrition, on-site counseling, family and parenting support groups, maternity support, and job training, will be free for all ages.
Thank you so much to The Lower Eastside Girls Club for making us part of this dream and for helping transform the lives of so many members of the Lower Eastside community. We are so proud to call you our partners!

Visiting Casa de Acogida in Chile!

Maestro Cares Foundation Co-Founder, Henry Cárdenas, visited our newly inaugurated pediatric temporary family home, Casa de Acogida in Santiago, Chile. There, he got to see the finished house and met with the families whom call this place home while their child receives treatment at the Children’s Hospital in Santiago.

Much needed uniforms for students in Guatemala!

This summer, Maestro Cares Foundation donated the uniforms to all the 620 students from the Escuelas Palo Verde. Thanks to this donation, all students have new and fitted uniforms. Back in 2019, Maestro Cares Foundation partnered with Fundación Tigo to remodel and reconstruct these three schools in Palo Verde, Jalapa, Guatemala – a vulnerable community that is highly affected by poverty and water drought.
