Project Updates
Casa Hogar Alegría Cacalomacán, Phase II 

We are excited to share that Phase II of Casa Hogar Alegría Cacalomacán, Toluca is coming soon! This expansion will consist of building additional dormitories, multi-use rooms, cafeteria and recreational spaces to cater an additional 168 girls, leading them to a happier and more holistic lifestyle due to the multitude of resources provided by Casa Hogar Alegría. Construction will start in November of 2022 and plans to be completed in December of 2023.

Redesigning Legacy: Roosevelt Square Community Center! 

We are thrilled to announce that JGMA design of SOS Children's Villages Illinois and Roosevelt Square Community Center was awarded with the Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Award for Architectural Excellence in Community Design. This award "was created to encourage development that respects and strengthens the city's unmatched architecture heritage–especially in neighborhoods confronting economic and social challenges." Congratulations on this incredible recognition, we are so proud to be part of this amazing project that is changing the lives of so many children and communities in Chicago!
