#OurChildrenAroundTheWorld: Puerto Rico 

 This month's episode of #OurChildrenAroundTheWorld series brings us to Puerto Rico! Maestro Cares Foundation along with its partners funded the construction of, Hogar San Miguel, an orphanage in Ponce, Puerto Rico for disadvantaged boys who have mild to moderate special needs including HIV/AIDs and ADHD. 

Hogar San Miguel serves as a safe and loving home for up to 20 boys ranging from ages 8 to 18 years old. These children suffer from special needs and have been removed from their homes because they are victims of physical/sexual and/or emotional abuse. The highly qualified staff provides special services such as 24/7 accommodations with medical services, social workers, speech pathology, occupational therapy, and audiology treatments. Due to the professional care the boys receive at Hogar San Miguel and the loving staff who encourage them to work hard despite their medical needs, they will now grow up with an improved sense of self-worth!

Meet our 2021 Fall Scholarship Recipients! 
 
We are pleased to announce the Fall 2021 recipients of the Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship Program!  Each of our recipients have demonstrated leadership qualities, determination and a strong will to make positive contributions to their local and global communities. Our recipients come from all over the United States and Latin America including, California, Texas, Washington, Bolivia, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador and more!

This Fall semester our scholarship recipients are earning degrees in various professional fields including:
  • Mechanical and Computer Engineering
  • Journalism and Communications
  • Orthodontistry, Neurobiology, and Physiology
  • Medicine and Nursing
  • Tourism Management
  • Accounting and Auditing
  • Medicine and Education
  • Social Work 
  • Aviation
We are thrilled to support these outstanding students in reaching their dreams! The Spring 2022 applications will soon be announced!

Eigth Annual Changing Lives, Building Dreams Gala!

Have you heard? Our Eighth Annual Our Changing Lives, Building Dreams Gala is quickly approaching! Hosted by Maestro Cares Foundation’s Founders, Marc Anthony and Henry Cardenas, our annual Gala helps us raise crucial funds that directly support disadvantaged children and communities throughout Latin America and the United States.  

This star-studded evening at Wall Street’s majestic Cipriani venue, will bring together more than 600 guests, global leaders in their respective industries, in support of Maestro Cares Foundation and the honorees. This black-tie event will feature inspiring cultural performances, an exciting silent and live auction, fine cuisine, and a special musical performance by Marc Anthony!
