Casita de Belen Phase ll is now
complete!
It is with great excitement that we
announce the construction for Phase ll of
Casita de Belen has been
completed! In 2019, Maestro Cares
Foundation along with Grupo Trusot, funded
the expansion of the Casita de Belen
orphanage in Cali, Colombia by adding a
third building. The new building included
additional dormitories, bathrooms, and a
recreational space with a synthetic soccer
field.
In 2020, Maestro Cares Foundation
committed to the construction of Phase ll
of Casita de Belen which consists of
constructing a two-story building and
terrace in conjunction to the current
home. The second phase aims to increase
the capacity of Casita de Belen’s programs
and grant more recreational and learning
spaces for the children. We are excited to
announce that the construction for Phase
ll has officially been completed!
Construction began in December 2020 but
was halted due to the pandemic. This
project marks our first completed project
in Latin America since the start of the
pandemic.
