On Saturday, December 14th, Maestro Cares Foundation, along with our partners Good Bunny Foundation, UNICEF USA, and Cubs Charities, came together for the grand opening of the first baseball fields reconstructed through the Play Ball Again project.

This is our second project in Puerto Rico where, along with our partners, we have funded the reconstruction of 6 baseball fields as part of a bigger initiative by Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) to rehabilitate 25 fields across the island, damaged by Hurricane Maria and Irma.

This project is a representation of our belief that every child deserves the right to play and just be a kid, and with the completion of 25 fields, over 17,500 children will have the opportunity to do so. Regional Director for Little League Latin America, Carlos Pagan, said "Local fields, teams, and programs are the heart of Puerto Rico's tradition of baseball excellence. [These fields] not only help build great players, even more importantly, they help build great people."

Thank YOU to everyone who continues to support our mission. It is because of your contributions that thousands of children will be brought hope and unity so they can continue dreaming, growing, and building a better future for themselves.
