Jardin de Niños La Mascota
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Maestro Cares Foundation funded the construction of a children’s day care center in the neighborhood of “La Mascota”, Argentina. This is the foundation’s first project in Argentina.
This project gives the children from this underprivileged community the opportunity to learn and grow through the Montessori teaching method emphasizing play and early education. The Montessori teaching method views the child as the one who is naturally eager for knowledge and capable of initiating learning in a supportive, thoughtfully prepared environment. It attempts to develop children physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively.
This center provides low-income families with the opportunity to work and provide a better education for their children. This center will serve 300 children between the ages of 0 to 6 years.
