Project MABA
Lima, Peru
Maestro Cares Foundation and the University of Technology and Engineering collaborated with the objective to bring higher-quality education to low-income children in Peru.
Project MABA improves early education experiences in STEM curriculum by investing in technological and communications infrastructure, providing state-of-the-art equipment and creating a proven tech-based curriculum available to teachers and students. This project also provides professional development for classroom teachers to implement in the curriculum.
Maestro Cares Foundation started funding hardware,
software, and evaluation of the MABA program in 2015 at the No. 25 Fé and Alegría School in Lima.
