Maestro Cares Foundation extends our warmest wishes and hopes everyone is safe and sound during this time. Despite the somberness of today’s pandemic, we are finding hope in the beautiful moments that are keeping our communities united!
We’re so thankful for organizations like SOMOS Community Carewho are working tirelessly and devotedly to help attend to thousands of sick COVID-19 patients in New York City.With doctors in the Bronx, Queens, Washington Heights and Brooklyn, we’ve partnered with them to donate over 1,500 N-95 masks so they can continue to stay safe while working around the clock for their communities!
Organizations like these, who are on the frontlines responding to COVID-19 are also faced with the difficult task of feeding their patients, staff and local community. Thanks to our partnership with World Central Kitchen over 3,500 meals are now being distributed at La Nueva Espana Restaurant in Washington Heights six days a week! World Central Kitchen has provided trained staff to distribute meals and provide healthy food for individuals and families for up to 3 days. We’re grateful to have joined with these organizations to make a difference in these communities. They are truly giving ‘changing lives’ a new definition and spreading optimism for a return to normalcy and a brighter future.

This month, we’re celebrating six years since the opening of Maestro Cares Foundation’s first project: Orfanato Ninos de Cristo, completed on April 14th, 2014 in La Romana, Dominican Republic. Who knew today we would have expanded to 21 projects in 12 countries. We’ve created miracles for thousands of children in Latin America and the United States and it would not be possible without the love, dedication, and commitment from our supporters!
