Project and Program Updates

Earlier this month, the Chicago Police Academy class 22-12D visited the Maestro Cares Foundation offices with their hands full of special surprises: toys, clothes, and school supplies for the children at SOS Children’s Villages Illinois!

We extend a big thank you to all of the police cadets in training for supporting our mission, and a special thanks to longtime supporter, Jacquilyn ‘Sophia” Grijalva, for choosing Maestro Cares Foundation as the recipient of the Chicago Police Academy’s community service project!

MCF Scholarship recipient update: Jorge Andrés Urquijo

This month, we received an inspirational update from one of our scholarship recipients, Jorge Andrés Urquijo Mendez! Jorge Andrés from Bogota, Colombia, is driven by his willingness to help others. He has always dreamed of becoming a doctor despite not having the resources to attend university. Thanks to the Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship program, we are funding his tuition and helping him get closer to achieving his dream of becoming a doctor.

Congratulations on your successful semester, Jorge Andrés! We are so proud of all of your accomplishments. Keep following your dreams!
