Grand opening of the 

Jaime González

Inclán Sports Complex 

in San Juan, PR! 

We are proud to announce the grand opening of our newest project, the new Jaime González Inclán sports complex for the San Juan-YMCA in San Juan, Puerto Rico!

In partnership with reggaeton legend, Daddy Yankee, we restored the YMCA’s sports and recreational complex that was impacted by Hurricane Maria, to establish a new state-of-the-art facility for vulnerable youth. This renovated and expanded sports center will host a sports and recreational program that will contribute to the development and well-being of children and young adults. The space will also serve as a hurricane resiliency center for the community, which has yet to recover from the natural disasters that have devastated the island. We’re proud to be changing lives and building dreams in Puerto Rico!  

Maestro Cares Foundation is partnering with universities in the United States, Puerto Rico, and Latin America to establish academic scholarships for Latino students with high academic capacity but limited financial resources.

Through this partnership, participating universities can contribute to the support of  scholarship recipients by providing additional financial assistance and academic support to help scholarship students reach their academic aspirations. Universities that we’ve partnered with include Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, IL, Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Ponce, in Puerto Rico, and Universidad de Ingenieria y Tecnología (UTEC), in Lima, Perú, among many more!

In total, these partnerships support 32 undergraduate and six master’s level students.  

Maestro Cares Foundation is committing $400,000 over the next two years to help students reach their educational and personal goals. Support our scholarship program by donating today!
