#OurChildren Around the World: Argentina
HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS!? This year’s final episode of #OurChildren Around the World series includes a special announcement of our newest project in Argentina

We are partnering with Fundación Mir to fund the construction of the first Montessori school center in La Mascota, an impoverished neighborhood in Buenos Aires. This Montessori school will serve children ages 2 to 5 years old who are preparing to enter primary school and it will serve as a daycare center for children 0 to 2 years of age which will help local parents who are in desperate need of care for their infants while they work. The school will also provide workshops and resources for the mothers.

The Montessori learning methodology focuses on providing an immersive and comprehensive environment that stimulates growth, and focuses on the natural development of children’s aptitudes through self-exploration and discovery, and nurturing self-sustainable citizens. For La Mascota – a community that lacks kindergartens and early childhood education for children, this new school will provide endless possibilities for the children and the families in the community.

Dreaming is never on hold, thank you Aprende Institute!
Through our special partnership with Aprende Institute, 70 adolescents and their families from two of our projects (Aldeas Infantiles SOS Guatemala and Aldeas Infantiles SOS Colombia) received an opportunity to pursue vocational training classes that can be used to form their own business, learn a new trade or skill necessary to become financially independent. This alliance will make a life-long impact on families that have been drastically impacted by the global pandemic, and who were left unemployed and without resources.

Thank you Aprende Institute for partnering with us to help our future generation and their families chase their dreams!

Beverage Donation made to our partners in Guatemala!

Earlier this month, a total of 3,000 Be-liv beverages were donated to families at SOS Aldeas Infantiles Guatemala, located in San Juan Sacatepequez! These all-natural beverages are a healthy substitute for carbonated drinks and were well received by the community! Thank you Be-liv!
