Fundación MIR
Buenos Aires, Argentina
Maestro Cares Foundation funded the construction and continued development of Casa de Niños Emanuel, a Montessori early-childhood education cetner in the La Mascota neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The center provides high-quality early education to children from underserved communities. Through the Montessori method, its educators encourage independence, creativity, and development through purposeful, play-based activities.
Phase I renovated the original building of Casa de Niños Emmanuel, which opened in April 2022.
Phase II strengthened the center’s educational programs and facilities by providing funding for school supplies, computers, teacher training, and kitchen renovation. These resources help educators enhance the learning experience while improving the spaces and tools available for children and staff.
Casa de Niños Emanuel servers up to 300 children between the ages of two and five. Operated by Fundación MIR, the center expands equitable access to early education while providing families with a safe and reliable place for their children to learn and thrive.
