Maestro Cares Foundation partnered with Alcaldia de Barranquilla, Goya Foods, Fundación Pacific, and Fundación Tecnoglass to fund the construction of an orphanage for disadvantaged children in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Home to 48 girls and 48 boys aged 7-18 as of January 2024, the orphanage focuses on restoring the rights of and delivering comprehensive care to vulnerable children, both on site and in the surrounding community.

In partnership with the Municipality of Barranquilla and the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, the center offers tutoring, therapy, occupational training, and extracurricular activities. Thanks to these efforts, the children have the opportunity to learn essential skills and grow into independent adults.
