Centro de Bienestar de Niños con Cancer Renaci - Maestro Cares Foundation

The Maestro Cares Foundation funded the construction of a comprehensive wellness center dedicated to supporting children battling cancer in Paraguay. The facility includes oncology services, a specialized diagnostic laboratory, doctors’ offices, and a psychological support office. Patients also benefit from rehabilitation spaces, multipurpose rooms, recreational areas, a waiting room, and a communal kitchen. This center provides inclusive care for approximately 1,800 patients, aged infant to 18 years old, annually.

Renaci is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2011 in Asunción, Paraguay. Its mission is to improve the survival rates of children and adolescents with cancer by promoting access to adequate treatment in a timely manner and providing comprehensive assistance to the child and their family. Renaci is part of the HOPE department (Hemato-Oncology Department at the Hospital de Clinicas) that is comprised of dedicated physicians focused on scientific treatment/research.

We do so by providing housing, educational programming, and the essential resources to support their growth and development. Through our efforts, we’re strengthening communities and helping children become tomorrow’s leaders.
