We keep growing in Chile!
Earlier this year, Corporación Renal Infantil MATER reached out to Maestro Cares Foundation (MCF) with an urgent request to address a critical need at their Diagnostic Center. For the past 17 years, their single-head gamma camera has been essential for diagnosing and monitoring pediatric renal conditions. However, this equipment has now reached the end of its useful life, leading to significant operational and financial challenges.
To address this critical need, MCF has teamed up with Carlos Geniso and his company, DG Medios, to fund the acquisition of a cutting-edge double-head gamma camera from Siemens. This advanced equipment will enhance internal body imaging capabilities, improve diagnostic accuracy, and increase efficiency. Additionally, MCF will also upgrade the examination room to ensure a better and more comfortable experience for their pediatric patients.
The new gamma camera will benefit at least 5,000 children and adolescents each year by cutting procedure times by 50% and improving accessibility for bedridden or wheelchair-bound patients. This upgrade will enable the Diagnostic Center to provide more precise and comfortable care.
