Each year, countries worldwide celebrate Children's Day. World Children’s Day is a time to amplify the voices of children and young people on the issues that are important to them. By focusing on children's rights and ensuring their participation, we can pave the way for a better future for all.
At Aldeas Infantiles SOS they believe in celebrating the kids on this special day. Maestro Cares Foundation and Fundación Tigo partnered to fund the construction of the Aldeas Infantiles SOS Community Center in Guatemala, where they offer programs for 60 kids and their local community.
This special day raises awareness of the challenges that children face, including abuse and discrimination, and underscores our duty to protect them. SOS Aldeas Infantiles provides vital yearly support, including nutrition, health care, educational support, and violence prevention programs.
