Hospital Nacional de Niños

San Jose, Costa Rica

This project supports the hemocomponent laboratory and blood bank department that serve the neighboring pediatric population, encompassing infants to 15-year-olds. The center has on average 325 blood donors and completes 600 transfusions with more than 150 patients per month.

Maestro Cares Foundation will provide necessary renovations to ensure blood donations and transfusions to pediatric patients continue in high-quality conditions with upgraded equipment and modern facilities.
