Our US Scholarship Applications are now open!

Calling all U.S Undergraduate Students . . .

We are excited to announce that our Fall 2022 US Scholarship Fund Application is open now through June 15, 2022 at 11:00 PM CST!

In 2015, Maestro Cares Foundation created the Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship Program with the goal to promote academic excellence and provide opportunities for disadvantaged Latino youth with significant financial need as they embark on their college, university, vocational or technical studies in Latin America and the United States. Through the support offered to students who are poised to do great things, the scholarship program is built to make a real impact and break the cycle of generational poverty. It intends to change the lives of children when it comes to the quality of education and level of excellence they have when they finish their degrees.

Regardless of their personal and socio-economic setbacks, when considering applicants we look for students with a compelling desire to pursue higher education, and are in dire need of financial aid.
Applicants must be hardworking, resilient, and determined individuals who want to make positive contributions to their local and global communities.

Project Updates

Our first project in Chile is now complete!

The Maestro Cares Foundation partnered with Corporación Mater to fund the construction of a temporary pediatric family home, Casa De Acogida, for children who suffer from renal disease and are in need of an organ transplant.

This temporary pediatric family home will be operated by Corporación Renal Infantil Mater and will house up to 24 families while their children receive treatment at the Children’s Hospital in Santiago. Most transplant specialists for renal and urological disease are concentrated in the capital. Children in rural areas who suffer from these diseases need to travel to the city center to get the treatment and care they need.

With Casa de Acogida, families dealing with these illnesses who live far from the city of Santiago can receive free medical treatment and care, while temporarily living in a safe, healthy, and clean space to make their hardship experience more bearable!

We are so proud to announce that the construction for this project is 100% complete! And, we can't wait to see the impact this new home will have on the children and families in Chile.
