MARC ANTHONY AND HENRY CÁRDENAS ANNOUNCED FIRST HONOREE FOR THE MAESTRO CARES FOUNDATION’S SIXTH ANNUAL “CHANGING LIVES, BUILDING DREAMS” GALA.  

The one and only,
Lin-Manuel Miranda
will receive the Maestro Cares Foundation Community Hero Award!
American composer, lyricist and actor, celebrated as the creator and original star of Hamilton: An American Musical. Lin-Manuel is dedicated to humanitarian issues regarding Puerto Rico, creating the benefit single, “Almost Like Praying” in response to the destruction of Hurricane Maria in 2017 with proceeds benefitting the Hispanic Federation’s UNIDOS Fund, dedicated to recovery efforts on the island. Most recently, Lin-Manuel announced that all proceeds from Hamilton’s 3-week run in Puerto Rico in January 2019 will be donated to Flamboyan Arts Fun to support arts and education programs in Puerto Rico. 
We invite you to join us for an exciting evening featuring a cocktail reception, formal dinner, a live and silent auction in addition to a live musical performance by Maestro Cares Foundation Co-Founder and global music icon Marc Anthony.

WE’RE ENDING 2018 IN TRUE MAESTRO CARES STYLE,
CHANGING LIVES & BUILDING DREAMS!

December 6, 2018 marks the Grand Opening of Maestro Cares Foundation 5th orphanage.

                                      Casa Hogar Alegría in Guadalajara, Mexico!

This is our 5th completed orphanage and the second project in Mexico that Maestro Cares Foundation and Fundación TelMex-TelCel have collaborated on with Casa Hogar Alegria. This will be home to 64 girls in the first stage and 128 girls in the second stage, ranging from ages 6 to 21 years old. The complex will have dormitories, a cafeteria, a computer laboratory, therapy rooms, an auditorium and a chapel.
