Meet our summer intern, Mariah De La Fuente!

Our Event Planning intern this summer is Mariah De La Fuente, the future mayor of Chicago!
Mariah is a student studying Political Science and Peace & Conflict Studies at DePauw University. Learning the practical skills of what holds a nonprofit together is what drew Mariah to intern with Maestro Cares Foundation. This is because after she graduates, she hopes to start a nonprofit of her own that aims to stop the cycle of violence in Chicago. In her effort to make a change in Chicago, Mariah is studying Political Science to prepare for her role in local Chicago politics.

Maestro Cares Foundation thanks you Mariah for your time, dedication and drive!
